The Ethics Commission is an independent agency with advisory and quasi-judicial powers and its' Board Members are not appointed by elected officials.  Government employees and officials have a special duty to serve the public in a fair and just manner. The Ethics Commission is dedicated to bolstering public trust in the administration of government by informing the public and private sectors about the laws and seeking strict compliance with them.  It is empowered to subpoena, audit, and investigate all facts and persons materially related to a complaint at issue.

Report Elderly or Disabled Abuse & Neglect

If you are the victim of abuse or suspect elder abuse, call 911!

If you wish to speak to a counselor concerning elder abuse, call  305-418-7200 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and ask to speak with a Victim Advocate.
